The process of application to admission
Students |

School |
Fill out the necessary information in the documents sent from the school, and submit them to the school, together with other necessary documents. Enclose screening fees. |
|
Documents are examined at the school, or an interview examination is carried out in the country where the applicant resides. |
|
|
|
|
|
The documents are submitted by the school, to the Ministry of Justice’s Osaka Immigration Bureau. |
|
|
|
Remit school enrollment fees, tuition and boarding fees. |
|
Receive Certificate of Eligibility |
|
Application for visa is filed to the Japanese Embassy (or Consulate) in each country. (There will be an interview at the time of application) |
|
Upon confirming the above remittance, the school will send Certificate of Eligibility. |
|
Issuance of visa |
|
Issuance of visa (If the application for the visa is rejected, all expenses EXCEPT screening and admission fees will be refunded) |
|
|
|
Student is admitted to Osaka International School of Culture and Language. (After the issuance of the visa, the student must notify the school of the flight number and date of arrival in Japan) |
|
A representative from OBKG will be at the airport for pick-up. |

- Personal History (provided by OBKG to be filled out by student applicant) [1 copy]

- Original copy of Graduation Certificate/ Diploma, OR proof of Graduation (if currently enrolled, please provide proof of enrollment) [1 copy]
- If the student was admitted to elementary school at a later age, please provide a letter of proof explaining the situation.
- Photocopy of passport [1 copy]
- Proof of Japanese language study (for students who had studied the Japanese language for more than 6 months or 150 hours) [1 copy]
- Proof of employment (from graduation to present) [1 copy]
- Photocopies of JLPT Score Certificate and/or J-Test Score Certificate if applicable [1 copy]
Financial Guarantor Documents
- Letter of Expenses (provided by OBKG to be filled out by guarantor) [1 copy]
- Proof of Funds (at least US$25,000 or equivalent in local currency) [1 copy]
- Proof of income for the past three years [1 copy], and Certificate of Tax Payment [1 copy]
- Photocopy of Bank passbook (in USD or local currency) [1 book]
- Guarantor’s Proof of Employment, to be notarized [1 copy]
- Proof of relationship between the student and the guarantor (such as Family Registration Certificate), to be notarized [1 copy]
※ Financial Guarantor Documents differ if they own private businesses, or if they are foreign nationals residing in Japan. For more details, please contact our school.
